TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE is set up at the foot of Joychandi Pahar where Goddess Joychandi has been remaining with an eternal outlook of welfare of mankind. The natural pageant is so beautiful and charming that each student must feel ecstasy as long as he/she will stay as a trainee teacher.
The setting up of this college came out of the dream of members of P.J. Samiti and after a marathon struggle their dream was materialised in 2013 out of generosity of Professor (Dr.) Manik Bhattacharya, Ex.Chairman, West Bengal Primary Education Council, Sri Nilkamal Mahato, Chairman, Primary Education Council, Purulia, Sri Madan Mohan Barat, Chairman, Raghunathpur Municipality, Ex. Prof. (Biswabharti) Mr. Bishnu Mahata and innumerable well-wishers of Raghunathpur and its surroundings.
The special characteristic of this institution is that it is a home away from home. All students must have facilities like a rich lirary, nearly COLLEG ATTACHED HOSTELS for both Male and Female, learned and well experienced faculties, canteen and easy communication to arrive at the College from outside as Train and Bus Services are always available at Joychandi Railway Station & Raghunathpur Bus Stand respectively.
